Bauway has sent me their latest one hundred watt temperature controlled box mod kit for review which I’ve had the pleasure of using and getting to grips with over the past month.
The CigGo T is a simple and very straight forward to use T.C device that has a uniquely designed outer casing which allows for a snug fit in the palm of your hand with smooth rounded edges on tall corners and an overall soft tactile feel, making it a pleasure to hold over an extended period.
And when it comes to power, it’s no slouch either. With a maximum output of 100W output in its power setting, and a Temperature Range of 100-300 ℃/212-572 ℉ which is backed up by twin 18650 2500 mAh internal high rate discharge batteries. So this little beauty should find a niche in today’s market for the vaper looking to experiment with their first temperature controlled device which can not only produce massive clouds, but a very flavorsome vape too.
Bauway’s CigGo T comes in a choice of three colour schemes, Black, Grey, and Pink. With accompanying colour coded 3.5ml tanks for all three colour versions allowing you to adjust the airflow intake, plus the juice inflow as well. This should help immensely with wicking, and avoid flooding, or dry burning your supplied 0.2Ohm Ni200 Organic Cotton coil depending on the thickness of E-Liquid you happen to be using at the time for the near perfect vaping experience.
Let’s take a look at what’s in the box, how much it’s going to cost you and the basic functionality of the device itself which is pretty straight forward to use by today’s demanding standards for accuracy and adjustability.
The CigGo T arrives in a sealed slim black box with an almost life-sized picture of the device and tank on the front cover with some basic information about it highlighted in three white oval shapes concerning the device type, power output, and liquid valve control. The top and bottom contain the CigGo T name with the temperature controlled box mod wording underneath. On the left-hand side are the words Temperature Control System and on the right the word Color with a sticker representing the actual colour of the device to be found on the inside.
Finally, the reverse gives a fuller description of the CigGo T kit with some cautionary notes about safety and use.
Lifting off the lid reveals the grip styled Temperature Controlled Mod plus the Clear tank T Temperature Controlled Atomizer with an additional 0.2Ohm Ni200 coil and interchangeable 510 POM Mouthpiece. You will also see a charging cable (USB/Micro USB) included as well as a User Manual.

Function & Performance
I have tested the CigGo T’s full range, from 1 watt all the way up to its maximum of 100 watts. I have also used the enclosed Clear tank T plus the latest Yokozuna RBTA in combination with two different E-Liquids with varying PG/VG mixtures from Electric Lotus and Fallout. This will help to gauge its overall vapour & flavour performance for you as well.
If you intend to use this range of E-Liquids, please make sure they meet the current requirements set out by your countries regulatory bodies.
For EU countries, more information on this can be found here along with REACH’s partner agencies from around the globe.
E-Liquids may contain Diacetyl (DA) and Acetyl Propionyl (AP) or other carcinogenic ingredients or disease-causing substances, so please be aware of this and seek medical advice before using any of the products used in my reviews.
People can suffer from allergies to chemicals that may be present in the makeup of certain types of E-liquids or produced in their vapour. People can become sensitive to, or even allergic to Nickel or Titanium used in Temperature Controlled designed coils. Again, please be aware of this and seek medical advice before using any of the products used in my reviews. Also, check with your E-liquid supplier or the equipment manufacturers directly before purchase and use.
Here is a quick start up guide on how to use your new device. For a more detailed description, please consult the enclosed user manual.
Before turning on the CigGo T, fill your tank with E-Liquid making sure you have primed the coils sufficiently, first of all, allowing a period of about five minutes for the Liquid to soak into the organic cotton.
To turn on the CigGo T press the Power/Fire button five times in quick succession. The OLED on the base of the device will display the CigGo Logo. You will see that the device is set in Temperature Control Mode and offers you the Option to switch to Power Mode (VV/VW) at this point. Use either of the two buttons on the bottom next to the OLED screen to toggle between each option and press the fire button once to confirm your choice depending on the coil you have attached. (TC mode=Ni200 Only)
Temperature Control Mode
Once you have selected Temperature Control Mode after powering on the device, you can switch between operating in Degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. To do this, press the Power/Fire Button twice in quick succession. To adjust the current value in each press either of the two buttons next to the OLED screen situated on the base of the unit. The button on top increases the value, and the bottom one will decrease it in increments of 0.1.
Variable Voltage-Variable Wattage Modes
Again, once you have selected Variable Voltage Mode after powering on the device, you can switch between operating in Variable Voltage Mode or, Variable Wattage Mode depending on your preferred mode of operation.
To do this, press the Power/Fire Button twice in quick succession. To adjust the current value in each press either of the two buttons next to the OLED screen situated on the base of the unit. The button on top increases the value, and the bottom one will decrease it in increments of 0.1
When the device is powered on you can also switch to TC Mode or Power mode by holding down the two buttons next to the OLED screen at the same time.
So my overall feeling on the CigGo T from Bauway is a positive one. I would class this as a great introductory temperature controlled device with sufficient output power in either VW/VV mode or Temp Control mode producing an immense amount of vapour above 450℉ with little effort other than turning up the heat, with excellent flavour reproduction also. The kit comes with two Ni200 0.2oHm coils and will only vape at present using Nickel coils in the Temperature setting.
The temperature limiting appears to be working well andI have not experienced any issues with dry burning of the organic cotton at all. When the tank was empty and the device was fired an error message appeared saying, DRY COIL on the OLED screen and the device would not fire until the cotton was soaked in E-Liquid. I have attempted to dry burn the cotton on numerous occasions over the past few weeks, but it seems to be holding up very well.
Adding a colour coded tank to match the mod itself is a very nice touch. I was also impressed with the ability to be able to fine tune the juice flow to the coil head itself, which clearly makes a difference in allowing the correct amount of liquid in, minimizing the possibility of flooding or dry burning occurring from the equation when using either a thicker or thinner juice.
The airflow is more than adequate, and with a capacity of up to 3.5ml it should be fine. However, at higher temperatures, or power levels which the CigGo T can quite easily provide, it would be nice to see an increase in the size to be able to hold at least 4ml of liquid, 5ml would be even better.
The smooth hand grip style of the mod is very comfortable to hold and surprisingly light in weight too. All corners have been rounded off to minimize the risk of any discomfort also, and with a well-placed fire button with simple input controls and a recessed OLED screen in the base you are going to find this a pleasant vaping experience.
The inclusion of two 18650 2500mAh batteries giving you a total of 5000mAh provides enough power for a full day’s vaping for most of us, and the inclusion of the micro USB on the side allows you to charge the device standing upright which I prefer. With a standard USB connector at the other end, you can easily charge the CigGo T from your home or work computer or connect it directly to a wall outlet by using the correct USB wall charger plug.
I noticed a drop in power output in power mode as well compared to other devices of around 15-20W which is not a huge problem in my opinion, but certainly worth mentioning at this point.
It would also be useful if the device remembers on future designs the last mode of operation be it TC or VV/VW mode without having to set this each time you power up the device
It would also be worth considering a magnetic battery door on future releases as well giving people the option to charge or change the batteries directly. This can be easily achieved so I hope Bauway will take this onboard and include this option in future designs with the increased tank capacity that I have already mentioned, and the addition of more colour choices too.
That just about wraps up this review other than to say expect more from Bauway over the course of 2016 as they appear to me to be a Company heading in the right direction and the CigGo T is an excellent place to start!
Expected price range appears to be around the £55.00 or $70.00 mark.
